Vertu has launched their latest high-tech luxurious smart phone, Aster, for Android lovers. The device is quite expensive, as naturally for Vertu, and available from $ 6800 onwards depending upon the choice of model.
Vertu is a favorite brand for rich class customers for a long time. It has introduced another lifestyle model, Signature Touch Back, in June for $10,000.
The exact release date is not yet announced. Now we can quickly go through the features and specifications of the device.
Display
Aster comes with 4.7” high contrast display at the resolution of 1080 x 1920 px, 473dpi. The screen is protected by sapphire Crystal (fifth generation) and surrounded by high fidelity sterio speakers with dolby digital quality.
OS, Hardware and Memory
Aster uses Android 4.4 KitKat as the operating system. It is powered by 2.3 GHz Quad Core processor that uses Snapdragon 801 chipset. The device offers 2 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
Vertu Aster is heavier than ordinary smartphones as the company uses rare materials for making of all their models (for interior and exterior). As you know, it is one of the main reasons for their stylish-elegant look. The model weighs at 193g (143.4 x 69 x 11.2mm)
Camera and Battery
The stylish phone occupies 13 MP auto focus rear camera along with twin LED flash. You can make good quality voice calls with 2.1 MP Skype enabled front camera. Both cameras are guarded by well designed sapphire panel.
Aster has a 2275 mAh battery which offers upto 15 hours of talk time and upto 380 hours of standby time.
Exterior
Vertu let users to choose from seven models-Onyx calf, Lagoon calf, Blush calf, Caviar karung, Tangerine karung, Raspberry ostrich and Cognac ostrich.
