The latest version Android Lollipop offers a great new feature calls Screen Pinning. When you enable this on your Android device the other person using it only has access to one app.
This a great feature that helps parents those who often offer a device to a child and they need the child to use only an app like YouTube or Wikipedia etc.
The pinning option is not enabled by default on Android 5.0 Lollipop. So how to Pin your Favorite apps in Android 5.0 Lollipop? Here is the steps.
1. Go to the settings on your Android Device
2. Scroll down and you can see an option named ‘Security‘. Click on that
3. There you can see an option switch to on the screen pinning
4. Thats it, you’re able to pin any app to your screen now
Pin an App

The screen pinning is enabled now. You can only pin the last app you accessed. To pin an app, tap on the overview button. Drag the title bar for the app you’re going to pin up. There you can see a button of the app overview. Tap on it to pin the app.
Unpin an App
To Unpin the screen touch and hold back and overview at the same time. After some seconds the device will switch to the overview screen.
