2014 was a fantastic year for smartphone lovers. We got some new awesome phones, new versions of flagship series, wear devices and Android 5.0 Lollipop in this year.
Apple has launched most stylish phone of the year, iPhone 6 Plus, during the second quarter but 2014 was Android’s year as usual. Here’s our list of top Android Smartphones of 2014.
1) Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Samsung Note devices are trending phones always. In 2014, we got 4th generation Note models with gorgeous look and powerful features. It came with 5.7″ Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (2560 x 1440 px, 515 PPI), 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. You can further expand the memory for up to 128 GB by Micro SD card.
It runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS which can be upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop later. Note 4 is powered by 2.7 GHz Krait 450 Quad-core processor and embeded with a 3220 mAh Li-Ion battery. HTC One M8 is one of the most selling gadgets of the year. It has 5″ capacitive touchscreen display (1920 x 1080 px, 441 PPI), 2 GB RAM and 16/32 GB internal storage variants. It lets you expand the memory for up to 128 GB by MicroSD card.

M8 runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS which can be upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone is powered by 2.3 GHz Quad-core processor using Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. DUAL 4 MP cameras on rear side and 5 MP camera on front side are other main attractions of the model. It is backed by a 2600 mAh Li-Po battery as well.
HTC One M8 weighs 160 g and measured at 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm dimensions. The phone is available in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold colors.

You can expect Nexus 6 in any top 5 smartphone list. Google has launched the latest member in their flagship series recently. But within a short period of time, it captured the mind and heart of smartphone lovers around the world.
It has a 5.96″AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (2560 x 1440 px, 493 PPI), 3 GB RAM and 32/64 GB variants. There’s no memory card support, similar to Moto X (2nd generation). It uses Android 5.0 Lollipop as operating system and 2.7 GHz Krait 450 Quad-core as processor.
