Samsung Galaxy S6 is said to be come with 5.1 inches AMOLED touchscreen display (2560 x 1440 pixels, 577 ppi) and Corning Gorilla glass 4 for the screen. On the other hand, iPhone 6 Plus features 5.5 inches LED-backlit IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 401 ppi. It means, you can enjoy big screen with iPhone but should give high mark to Galaxy S6 as it offers higher resolution and higher rate of ppi.
OS and Processor
Samsung Galaxy S6 runs latest version of Android- v5.0 Lollipop. It is equipped with a Octa core processor that runs in the combination clock speeds of 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57.
Apple iPhone 6 runs iOS 8 that can be upgraded to iOS 8.1.2 as soon as the update arrives. The device is powered by 1.4 GHz Cyclone dual-core processor with Apple A8 chipset.
RAM, Memory and Battery
Galaxy phone offers 3 GB RAM and 32/64/128 GB on-board storage variants. It provides memory card support for up to 128 GB and backed by a 2550mAH Li-Polymer battery as well.
iPhone 6 Plus has 1 GB RAM and 16/64/128 GB storage options without any option to expand the memory further. The smartphone is embedded with a Li-Po 2915 mAh battery that offers up to 384 hrs of stand by time and up to 24 hrs of talktime on 3G.
Camera
Galaxy S6 will have two cameras- 16 MP Primary camera with 4992 х 3744 pixel resolution, LED flash and 5 MP front facing camera with dual video call option. Rear camera will record videos in high resolution format- 2160p @30 fps.
Apple iPhone has 8 MP rear camera with 3264 x 2448 pixel resolution and dual LED flash. It records 1080p videos at 60fps. iPhone 6 Plus provides 1.2 MP secondary camera for selfies and video calls.
In short, Samsung gives much better option for photographic enthusiasts. You can enjoy sharper, crisper images and videos with Galaxy S6 model.
Price
You can expect Samsung Galaxy S6 in a price range $750-800. Apple iPhone 6 Plus is available for $299 (16 GB), $399 (64 GB) and $499 (128 GB).
