Android Nougat Update: Google Pixel, Samsung, HTC, Moto and More

Android’s much-awaited OS version Nougat 7.1.1 is now available for download. The update is currently available for selected devices only. It includes flagship devices of Google, Samsung, HTC, Moto, LG and Huawei.

Google confirmed that the update will start rolling out from December 5th for the users of these devices: Google Pixel, Nexus 5x, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, HTC 10, Moto Z and Moto Z Force. LG V20 was the first phone come with Nougat by default. Moto G4, G4 Plus, HTC One A9, One M9, One Plus 3 and 3T will receive the update before the end of this year.

Android 7.0’s developer preview is already available for selected devices in the US which includes Samsung Galaxy S7 AND unlocked versions of HTC 10.

The update has about 650 MB size, comes with lots of advanced features like multi-window view, image keyboard and gorgeous interface. It provides over 1500 emojis to use for messaging.

To check the update status of your device, just tap to Settings, then About Phone and Software updates. Make sure your device is fully charged before starting download and installation.
